John Rast

John began his produce career at Dole after graduating from San Francisco State University in 1977. In his career, John has worked for a diverse group of produce companies including Pandol Brothers and Blue Anchor. He worked across the United States before starting Rast Produce Company in 1997. John is also the President and founding member of Sierra Agricultural Transportation. Sierra Ag is as an asset based logistics transportation provider to customers throughout North America. Sierra Ag is headquartered in Visalia, CA. John has been happily married for over 40 years with three children and six grandchildren. His hobbies include golfing, softball, volunteering at the Catholic School of Visalia, George McCann Memorial as well as The Good Shepherd Catholic Parish.

 

Mark Hirni

 

 

 

Mark began his produce career as an inventory specialist for a large stonefruit shipper in Reedley, California in 1982. Over the next two decades, Mark worked for two separate companies as a sales manager of pears, grapes, and stonefruit. Mark has worked for Rast Produce since 1998. When he isn't in the office, you can find him enjoying his family or riding his mountain bike.

 

Jack Rast

 

 

 

Jack began his produce career in high school inspecting fruit for his dad during his summer breaks. After graduating college in 2008, Jack went to work for Fowler Packing Company handling and learning many marketing aspects with Fowler's stone fruit, table grape, and citrus production. In 2011, Jack joined Rast Produce full time to work alongside his father and Mark. Jack enjoys spending time with his wife and growing family, as well as volunteering his time coaching basketball at the Catholic School of Visalia, George McCann Memorial.
